The Haunting Score and Fan Favorites
Long-time collaborator Petri Alanko (Alan Wake, Quantum Break, Control) returned as lead composer to provide a biting yet emotive dramatic horror score. Additionally, the soundtrack features the fan-favorite janitorial ballad “Yötön Yö,” performed by Martti Suosalo in his role as Ahti.
The Spiraling Journey of "This Road"
Music artist POE and Sam Lake fused their creative consciousnesses to birth the four-part epic “This Road.” These spiraling, woozy tracks serve as the haunting end-of-chapter themes for Alan Wake’s perilous journey through the Dark Place.
The Return of the Old Gods
Poets of the Fall once again inhabit their roles as the legendary Old Gods of Asgard to create several prog opuses. This includes the monumental “Herald of Darkness,” featuring in-fiction vocals by Matthew Porretta (Alan Wake) and David Harewood (Mr. Door).
In-Universe Chapter Songs
Rounding out the collection, music production house Fried Music and Nordic Music Partners gathered a small army of exceptional songwriting talent. Together, they created the eclectic and evocative in-universe “Chapter Songs” that punctuate the game's unique narrative structure.
