This long-awaited collection brings the iconic sounds of the MSX2 masterpiece to fans and collectors in a high-quality physical format for the very first time.

The Definitive Sequel

This title is the direct, chronological sequel to the original MSX2 version of Metal Gear. It should not be confused with the NES Ultra Games version, nor its unofficial sequel, Snake’s Revenge. Solid Snake follows our previously retired hero as he infiltrates Zanzibar Land to rescue a kidnapped bio-engineer and ultimately destroy the latest Metal Gear weapon.

Audio-wise, this entry represents a significant step up in quality from its predecessor. The soundtrack to Solid Snake is a melodic and dynamic synth album, heavily inspired by the driving synth-wave scores of 1980s action and horror films. It perfectly captures the tension and high-stakes energy of the stealth-action genre.
